About Me

I have 35 years experience as a psychotherapist. I have extensive training and experience helping survivors of child abuse and neglect to overcome the obstacles from the past. I have particular expertise helping child sexual abuse survivors to heal. My experience includes helping with a broad range of traumatic incidents, such as car accidents, rape, assault, bank robberies, terrorist attacks, and natural disasters.

In addition to trauma, I help people with depression, anxiety, and relationship problems, as well as helping working moms to balance career goals, family responsibilities and self-care. I also help individuals, couples and families to deal with issues related to sexuality and religious differences.

In my work with children and adolescents, I am experienced with issues related to separation anxiety, school phobia, depression and bullying, as well as hyperactivity and behavior problems.
