About Me
I have 35 years of experience as a psychotherapist. I have extensive training and experience helping survivors of child abuse and neglect to overcome the obstacles from the past. I have particular expertise helping child sexual abuse survivors to heal. My experience includes helping with a broad range of traumatic incidents, such as car accidents, rape, assault, bank robberies, terrorist attacks, and natural disasters.
In addition to trauma, I help people with depression, anxiety, and relationship problems, as well as helping them to balance career goals, family responsibilities and self-care. I also help individuals, couples and families to deal with issues related to sexuality and religious differences.
In my work with children and adolescents, I am experienced with issues related to separation anxiety, school phobia, depression and bullying, as well as hyperactivity and behavior problems.

Specializations at this adult out-patient mental health clinic included trauma, dissociation, borderline personality disorder and postpartum depression. Facilitated dialectical behavior therapy group and child abuse survivor group and supervised graduate students.

Provided assessment and treatment of child victims of incest (ages 3-18), non-offending parents and sex offenders, using individual, joint, family and group modalities. Also provided consultation to the Department of Social Services and expert testimony in family court.
